SHIBATA (#R31S101) Idler Gear 28T

Feature:

• For: Triple idler system of the GRK5-R
• This is an optional 48-pitch, 28-tooth idler gear designed for use with the triple idler system of the GRK5-R conversion kit.
• By replacing only the upper idler gear with this 28T gear, you can use smaller pinion gears ranging from 24T down to 17T, which are not compatible with the standard 24T gear. (Note: Two 28T idler gears are required for this setup – see ※1 below.)
• By replacing only the lower idler gear, this gear becomes compatible with the separately sold (R31S103) High-Precision Cut Racing Spur Gear 48P/72T. (See ※2 and ※3 below for compatibility notes.)

Important Notes:

• ※1: Two units of this product are required when used in the upper idler gear position.
• ※2: When used in the lower position with the 72T spur gear, this gear is not compatible with the 28T gear in the upper position.
• ※3: The first production batch of the GRK5-R conversion kit contains an error in the assembly manual regarding this configuration. Please refer to the attached corrected instructions.
